Unfortunately, the airline in Ica has stopped offering flights over the Nazca Lines. Read this page to discover some alternative ways you can experience the mystery of the Nazca Lines.
The airport in Ica (Aerodromo Las Dunas) is privately owned, and there is a lawsuit between the owners. So there won’t be any Nazca Lines flights taking off from this airport, for a long time, possibly many years.
To fly over the Nazca Lines, you still have some excellent options.
If you don’t have time to travel all the way to Nazca, an excellent option is to fly over the Nazca Lines from Pisco airport. This is about 1 hour and 10 minutes north of Huacachina and Ica city.
We can provide private transportation, or you can take a tourist bus, and then we will transport you to the airport in Pisco for your flight. You will fly over the Nazca Lines on a 12-passenger Cessna Grand Caravan.
We will pick you up from a hotel in Huacachina or Ica, and then transport you in a private car or van (depending on the size of your group) from Ica to the airport in Nazca. This usually takes around 2 hours and 45 minutes.
You will fly over the Nazca Lines with a safe airplane at the airport in Nazca. After your flight, we can transport you back to the Ica area, or you can stay in Nazca. We can also offer lots of archaeology tours in the desert
Less expensive than private transportation, this option allows you to travel by bus or Nazca Shuttle Express (a mini-van for tourists) from Huacachina to Nazca. In Nazca, we will pick you up and transport you to the airport in Nazca.
